Women are widely regarded as gullible by set of people who think actually, that women should be a domestic property to their husband and remain incapacited to the problem facing the world. The plight of Indian women.

There are in some certain places in India, women live as an outcast and denied the basic neccessities of life, there fundamental right as humans are being tampered with.

Women still reserve the right to protect themselves, it is within there notice and consent to have sex with anyone they have chosen to do so, not forceful means, which often cause physical damage and emotional trauma.

Sex is consensual with absent of either parties, it is rape that is why we will condemn such act and take a measure stand to stop such horrible experience. Unequal class of genders still strive in such community, when group of people are considered as outcast.

To get a job in sugarcane field, poor family from Beed, Osmanabad, Sangli and Solapur districts migrate to more affluent western districts of the state. They work in Sugar Belt as cutters, such a demanding job is very hectic for women to work on. Cane-cutting is hard and sometimes, they miss work when they do, they have to pay penalty for that.

The living condition is hell, no fixed time for sleeping or waking, no hut, no toilet. The poor hygiene is disturbing, many women catch infections. The community which sees women period as a taboo, and unclean.

This condition could land them into religious and work isolation, with this they sought to remove their womb, to go about their normal lives, let the society accept them, without minding the aftermath of their actions.

During the process doctor don’t tell them about the problems they would face, if they underwent hysterectomy, many believe that it’s OK to get rid of their wombs.

This has turned several villages in the region into “villages of womb-less women”. The issue was raised last month in the state assembly legislator Neelam Gorhe Maharashtra, health minister Eknath Shinde admitted that, there had been 4,605 hysterectomies just in Beed district in three years. But, he said not all of them were carried out on women who worked as sugarcane harvesters.

Village of Vanjarwadi in Beed district, within a short period of time 80% of villagers migrate to work in sugarcane fields. Half of the women in the village have hysterectomies most are under the age of 40 and some are still in their 20s.

Many of the women, their health had worsen since they underwent surgery. They complain about certain uneven pains around their body, and were unable to work in the field.

Women working in the multi-billion dollar garment industry, there allege that they have been given unlabelled drugs at work, instead of a day off, when they have complained of period pain.
