The lost art of conversation, for younger generation they never felt what it is like to spend hours on the telephone talking with loved ones, which resonates that spirit of bonding through those conversations. But the emergence of social media has almost erased phone conversation on the face of art of conversation. It is in that order, it keeps evolving from posting letters down to this era of ultra-modern conversation. In 80s and 90s, when phone conversations still retain it flavours, a close-knit and bonding families will spend hours talking on the phone, especially where work related schedule makes it impossible for them to constantly see, phone conversations create an escape route for them to ignite special moment.
The circle of women’s conversations always last longer, in their tender nature, they tend to extend the conversations, most times leading to wanted and unwanted gossips especially trending television program sparking women’s topic. Men are less likely to spend hours on phone, kids get excited on hearing from their grandmother, they want to get every detail, from everything that is happening in the background, from there they crave to visit their grandparents during long vacation having created that bond through phone conversation, the regular calling is the main bond. You cannot say the same for this generation, they want to chat and explore the internet and do face time, which crop of this current grandparents find it difficult to adopt.
It is just direct opposite of what is obtainable in today’s dispensation, before distance loved ones can call and have phone conversations, it will be serious and even life-threatening situations, the lost art of conversation can place a sword in relationships, where partners choose to chat their partners while they are craving for calling and direct conversation where they can hear each other, and reply at instance without needing voice message which often time do not get reply instantly, that’s when the relationship is loosening its grip, then it can fall off anytime.

It feels like it cannot be remedied but replaced, irrespective of that, proper conversations will always be an important ingredients that spark growth and keep the bond going in relationships, that’s the core rudiments, people will always want to communicate especially when they are comfortable with the conversation and the person.
