Naomi Osaka who has black background, has used her every single match to show solidarity to blacks who have been killed by police by wearing masks bearing the names of the victims, Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice.
Police suspected that Breonna Taylor’s apartment which is situated in Louisville, the city’s South End was being used to receive drugs by a gang which her ex-boyfriend is one of the suspects. Police breaking her door with hulabaloo police gunfire which leave Ms Taylor, unarmed emergency medical technician terribly shot.

Elijah McClain a 23-year-old black man who died in police custody in Aurora on 24 August 2019. Unarmed black who was stopped by white police officers, there were altercations as police tried to search him for a weapon, although district attorney later claimed that they had emergency call about a suspicious person matching his narration. He was heard saying “I’m an introvert, please respect my boundaries that I’m speaking.” At this point they pulled him down, he was battling and the police officers for help with firefighters and an ambulance responding. Shortly he was injected with 500mg of the drug ketamine to calm him, the medic noticed he don’t have a pulse, he was declared brain dead on 27 August. His family alleged that the officers used excessive force on him and reportedly claim that he was saying he can’t breathe. This happened to be another mask for the soon-to-be champion.
Ahmaud Arbery was jogging in Brunswick, Georgia, on 23 February when he was shot dead by two white men – a father and son. The culprits, Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis, 34, were seen chasing after Arbery in a pick up truck with a pistol. The 36-seconds video which appeared to show Mr Arbery running as McMichaels wait ahead for him in their vehicle, which was shot by another man, William Bryan. The man who shot the video and younger McMichaels were indicted by Glynn County’s Grand jury on charges including malice and felony murder. Arbery Sr in a warm message showed immense gratification for the young champion Naomi Osaka for her supports.
