What is beauty?
They said it is in the eyes of the beholder…
Perhaps, an assertion we had come to believe
Or a maxim that had come to live
Neither ways had it come to stay.
We shouldn’t forget in a haste…
That besides beauty there is much to give.
That aside physique there is much to offer.
Beauty is beyond physical, a lot better
A kind heart…a beautiful smile
A sweet soul…a good character is highly indispensable.

And Miss. Pretty escaped from home.
Beauty should be appreciated
Beauty should be applauded
Beauty should be celebrated
But there is more to that even.
Other special qualities must not be buried in the dark.
Because it takes only the light to see them.
And a positive mind to unravel them.
Just a day, Miss.
Only a day, Mr.
Beauty will fade away.
What then remains, when those charming eyes with which you first beheld her begins to dim?
What then stands?
What then remains, when that physique which first attracted you to him begins to bend?
What then holds?
Besides beauty there is much to give.
Aside physique there is much to offer.
In a society and in a world where physical beauty is given exclusive attention.
We should learn to appreciate other special qualities because they are hard to come by.
In our choice of partner for a life time commitment, beauty should not be counted first.
Because when it is all gone, lies yet a mystery to be unraveled.
