“Tomorrow is your birthday my love, tell me what you want”, Collins said.
He was carrying Ijeoma on his laps and they were discussing happily.
“I want you”, Ijeoma said laughing.
“Are you serious “, Collins said, blushing.
“Yeees “, Ijeoma said rolling her eyes and they burst into laughter.
“I promise to give you all of me”, Collins said looking deep into her eyes.
“Thank you my love”, Ijeoma said hugging him so tightly.

“I’m telling you what I saw, Ekene said, looking pained.
“Oh my God, not this time, not another heartbreak”, Ijeoma said as hot tears roll down her cheeks.
“I can’t even believe Collins will ever do this to you after everything, men are the same everywhere”, Ekene said snapping her fingers.
“I need to go and see them, maybe you are mistaking Collins for another person”, Ijeoma said rushing towards the gate.
“Ijeoma don’t tell me you’re going to Billions hotel dressed like this, you have to dress well, Ekene said.
“What did you went there to do in the first place? Ijeoma asked, doubting her friend.
“I went to deliver a cake to my client when I saw him swimming and playing in the pool with another woman. I was shocked. I didn’t call his attention, I quietly left before he could see me, Ekene said.
“I need to see him”, Ijeoma said, sobbing and banging the door. she quickly went inside the room to dress up while Ekene breath a sign of relief. She smiled, the first assignment is done.

With her friend’s direction, Ijeoma rush into the purported place. She paused. It was her birthday. She covered her mouth in shock as she surveyed the place. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks. Tears of joy. She stood still as eager cameras began the work it knows how to do best. She turned back to look at her friend, Ekene who had been with her through thick and thin and noticed she was weeping too. Collins had planned it all along with her. She smiled at the thought of that. Here she is now, a poor girl from the gutters abandoned by her father and left under the care of a sick mother. About to be proposed to by one of the richest young man in the country. It was too hard to believe and impossible to understand. Ekene quickly dragged down a flag covered with balloons to reveal a car. Few days ago, she recalled telling Collins that the same car was her favourite. Few persons were around, she knew Collins was a private person and she really loved it.
She turned to behold the man of her dream. Her Collins, her life saver and her world. He was all smiles and looking handsome as ever. There was cheers from the people around and Ijeoma smiled happily, through her tears.
