How did it go, Man? You’re really going crazy. You postponed the meeting with Dr. Brown to go and visit her. Is this really you Collins? What exactly is happening to you? Kelvin asked. The two friends were sitting comfortably in the former’s luxurious sitting room.
“It worth it man, there is something about her. The first day I set my eyes on her, I knew she is the one. It is just a matter of time”, Collins said smiling.
“I wish you all the best, Man. I’m really happy that you got to find the love of your life.
“Thank you, Kelvin.
“I want to see this lady that stole your heart”, Kelvin said. The two burst into laughter.
“Give me some time, Man”.
“So when will you be leaving for school?”, Collins asked as the two walk slowly to his car, hand in hand.
“Everything is ready, so I will be leaving tomorrow morning”, Ijeoma said smiling.
“Yes, you should, you have a lot to cover”, Collins said.
“You know I will miss you, Ijee.”
“Yes, I know”, Ijeoma said and the two burst into laughter.
“I don’t blame you, you have been taking my love for granted, It’s fine. Take me far away, because your love is slowly killing me, Collins said, singing.
“You know you have a bad voice?, Ijeoma said.
“Ooh, I can’t be handsome, sexy, and have a nice voice. It’s an overload “.
Ijeoma burst into laughter.
“Not someone feeling conceited here”, she said.
“Tell me, Ijee, am I not?
“Maybe”, Ijeoma said looking at him over in a playful manner.
“I will be traveling to Japan next tomorrow, I will be meeting a client in the afternoon , Collins said.

“My baby, Why are you smiling?
“I will miss you”, Ijeoma said, shyly.
“I will come and see you on weekend, okay? Hope you like your new lodge?
“Ijeoma hugged him tightly.
“I can’t thank you enough my dear Collins, I never knew I will be staying in such expensive place in school. Thank you for the clothes and the new phone. Thank you for everything ” Ijeoma said dancing.
Collins smiled.
“You know I love you Ijee and I will do anything to make you happy and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to call me when you need anything okay?
“Where have you been all these while Collins? Ijeoma asked as tears began to form a mass in her eyes.
“I’m here now, Ijee and I will stay as much as you want me to stay, It’s a forever something”, Collins said drawing her closer to himself so that he could clearly see her face.
Just then, Akunne enters, clearing her throat. The two quietly disentangle themselves, smiling.
Collins greeted her, they discussed for a while before he leaves. Meanwhile he already gave Ijeoma a huge amount of money for her mother.

Ijeoma was in her new room, reading her books in preparation for the semester’s exam when she heard a loud knock on the door.
“Who is that? she asked, wondering who might be knocking on her door in that manner.
She opened the door and almost fainted.
In front of her was Mrs. Beauty Maduka with two of her guards.
“Good afternoon Ma”, she greeted shivering.
Without responding, she pushed her aside and move into the room.
“My son furnished this apartment right?
“Yee…s Ma, Ijeoma stammered.
“She walked around the room surveying it with anger.
“Can you imagine, a dirty pig like you! How dare you!
“I didn’t do anything ma”, Ijeoma said.
“Ooh, you were employed just for one week to take care of my house and you started flirting with my son”, Beauty thundered.
She beckoned to one of the guards who hand a big brown bag over to her.
“This is twenty million naira, I know you have not seen such amount of money in your life before and I know you will not see it before you die. I want you to take this money and leave my son alone, we don’t belong to the same class. Anytime I see you both of you together again, I will feed both you and your impoverished mother to my bitch. Understood?
Ijeoma fearfully nodded.
“Gutter!, Beauty snapped at her and quickly left with her guards.
Ijeoma quietly closed her door and wept. The bag of money lies few step way.
