The wide views held on politics is something that has contributed immensely in our society, giving many people opportunity to share their own views. Society sees many restrictions on women, they place low expectations towards them, but here are the women who inspired Politics.

It is not an easy journey trying to live your dreams, it is all about steadfastness and desire to do more. Our society has suffered the problems of inequality of gender, giving men the most important and influential jobs available.

Women are allocated with meagre jobs, where they perform irrelevant jobs. Sometimes even where a man and a woman are doing the same jobs, they will still receive lesser salary.

Some women rose to speak and act against it. It is a bold step which will leave a positive impact in our society, to create atmosphere for equal representation, to give women top jobs available, and allow them participate fully on politics.

NGOZI OKONJO-IWELA

Ngozi Okonjo-Iwela is from Nigeria, former minister of finance, her authentic contribution to the growth of country’s economy, is undying desire. This is particular area in government people think, women should be entrusted. She delivered her job despite the uncertainty facing the administration then, getting recognition in World Bank for job well done is a dream come true and she did it.

She became an inspiration for young ladies, who realised how far your dreams can drive you, some began to emulate and found the desire to study economics in the university, she became an idol for them, her name crave only to become a woman who inspired politics.

NANCY PELOSI

Nancy Pelosi became USA speaker in the house dominated by democrats. She wides influence in US political system, and have become a strong opposer of Donald Trump’s administration. She has showed her abilities during different stages in her reign and still fighting for the cause she believed to be right.

Her political party are championing the removal of the incumbent president over a leaked call to Ukraine, telling them to investigate his potential opponent in the upcoming election. Which didn’t go well with the democrats, the process of impeachment is still passing different stages at outline by the constitution.

The Iron lady have inspired many young people beyond USA, you cannot talk about women involvement in politics without mentioning her name, she really inspired politics.

ELLEN JOHNSON SIRLEAF

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was former president of Liberia, and the first woman to become president in Africa. Her contribution to the development in Africa is overwhelming, this is a dream for every young lady out there, entity where women are paid less attention in life.

To create such atmosphere for everyone is really welcoming, and a great development in the future, which will still give popular and equal representation in politics.

She became the first woman to head Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) this pave a different opportunities to explore any available offer, she became an inspiration to young women in Africa who desired to be like her.

DORA AKUNYIRI

Dora Akunyiri became a centre of attraction after a bold decision to burnt a great number of fake drugs, when she was director of National Agency For Food Director and Administration Control (NAFDAC) it is unbecoming for women to take such steps, but here is a fearless lioness who place the welfare of millions above her political interest.

She has served briefly as minister of information. She became sick in 2014 and died. It is a great loss for Nigeria and for those she inspired, and who looked up her, but till today her legacy lives on.
