It is time to talk more about the continent filled with rich culture and heritage. The continent that doesn’t know whether to take colonization as a loss or a win and continue going to the part that might give it a name that it has long wanted.
African made up of 55 countries, from West, East, North, Central and Southern Africa. Before the emergence of the civilization people were living in the island of their own with their own laws which guide the activities within the locality.
Men are highly respected in the old African society especially the men who take title because of their prowess in fight, strength and influence. They are giving special treatment for their accomplishment.
And men who don’t serve of any importance are closely link to women and people make mockery of them. Old African society are highly linked with extreme power and strength, that’s where their draw the stronghold.
Women were kept complete isolation from the dealings of the community, it is largely believe that they have no role to play in the leadership of the community and widely separated from the government.
Young men compete for affluence and who takes the most alluring maiden, their strengths are always in the line, organizing a wrestle for such competition and they brag a lot about it.
Isolation of women in African society
There is always a borderline between a male child and female child. Male children find comfort in the bosom of their father while female children get series of scold from their father and get blamed for being a girl, they ultimately seek refuge in the bosom of their mother.
After colonization it has been a long fight for African countries they struggled to cope with new world and what it used to be. The big influence from white counterpart dominate the whole settings and it is hard to live in a world that is not yours.
There are so many bad images painted about this continent, sometimes your destiny is in your hands to change it, if not you’re allowing what people are saying to be truth. Africa is a home of nature and all the good things that graced it.
Africa is a place where people protect their pride, the tradition and culture. A highly religious continent but equally divided by religion, people go far in upholding their religious dogma even in the expense of another.
