In a chaotic world full of economic and political crisis young people are in dire need of empathy to navigate through this phase. It is becoming difficult every single day, psychological to get people to feel what you’re going through. The world is fast moving towards the concept of survival of the fittest than feeling empathy for young people, and they desperately need parents and older adults to understand them. To feel their emotion and understand their perspective towards life, sometimes they feel like they have not been heard or given an opportunity to do explanation, the extend in which emotions and perspectives they hold can be reciprocated by others, will go a long way to help them navigate dark times.
Predominant among university students and graduates who are finding it very difficult to secure a job, they need especially loved ones to tell them that this phase shall also pass. Frustrating for young people living in underdeveloped countries, where economy hardship bite so hard. Young people are becoming to think that to show empathy towards another is an act of cowardice because they rarely feel such feelings, it is dangerous to go through that lane, as little gesture as empathy can help a struggling young person to find a way, it is about how you can make a difference with seeing life from other’s perspective without necessarily making them feel less of themselves because they fail at some point.

When those potentials are neglected and their efforts are going unnoticed, it takes a deep toll on their self-confidence and self-esteem in navigating through that lane, as empathy create a light for young people to navigate through.
Empathy can give you the needed boost to reenergize your career path and find a way. Don’t get overwhelmed with the situation, because you’re not getting the needed emotional support shouldn’t slow down your pursuit in life. You need to be composed in this moment, where your mind is running from pillar to post, as young people are exploring the possible way to financial freedom which is the bedrock of the pursuit in life. When you’re able for a second to feel what a young person going through rough time to find a way feels, it humanises your approach to life and inform your emotional support. Building sustainable culture that will help people to get better view of the future and people’s approach towards that.
