It is a traditional transition from a close-knit community to wider community, where if freedom is not property guarded, it will not only dent the teen’s character but also pose a big threat to his future and everything he has aspired to achieve. So many kids don’t get to live outside their homes, until there university education, when they live off the restrictions and tend to kick start their own schedules of life, it is in this moment that everything is set before them, because life in campus create a different ambience, that seem appealing to young people, but could be distancing them from the very purpose in which they are in the university, and that’s how unguarded freedom creates loopholes.
There are mixture of worries where teens are moving from college to university level, not only that they are not going to be under close supervision of their parents, but also crude issues like making friends, campus habitation issue and mental health. Some roommates can make it difficult for the fellow roommates, coming from different backgrounds and orientations, conflict of opinions are bound to arise. These issues are important in determining coexistence among them and also respect one’s stance on general topic without harsh rebuke, and without making someone feel less of themselves, it can dent one’s self-confidence and self-esteem which is pivotal for self-development and self-advancement.
Time management is very essential, it keeps you focused and be self-aware of your primary purpose in the university. But, that’s where the problem seems to be, students become too wide with social life and tend to allocate larger time with their social life, neglecting the very basis. Many, especially teenagers who just left the home for the first time for university education, feel like they are bird set free, now they can fly, they are no longer bound and restricted by their parents. That’s where the unguarded freedom leave a big hole in the lives of teens in campuses who are merely starting to discover themselves and purpose for living and just get derailed from the plan.
