The sanctity of livelihood has been completely desecrated, the ever rising cost of living has dimmed the light for young people to navigate, they are now moping in the dark without the clear direction and vision of the whole. The outlook has changed, leaning towards destructive standards which have no preservation for stronghold which makes the future a habitual hypothesis. The livelihood has run into chaos with lots of factors complementing the ugly situation, the continuous wars and regional escalation of conflicts, coups, terrorism and bad governance have triggered the inevitable circumstances of this unbearable cost of living, these disorders have somehow shrink the economy of various countries.
The essence of legacy is that, generation coming up will be able to see the templates they are going to work with and work on already established path to continue the good projects, but the current understanding of the world today, provide no such information, what’s goes on today is antithetical to livelihood, humans are dehumanized, and life is suck out of them, chasing good life. Young people are walking on rocky roads. In Africa, it has continued to dominate the headlines, the educational system and down to the most commonest of basic necessities for living is denied by the officials who pledged to guarantee of security and welfare of the citizens.

In African societies where young people are constantly under pressure to fend for themselves after secondary education that’s for families that were able to train their children up to such standard, those who stopped at primary education or don’t get to attend at all are enrolled to be a skilled manual worker. It has been become pressing challenges for young people to compete and succeed in such environment that has no plan for young people that’s why young Africans are prioritizing countries in the West, African political society has not provided them with requisite tool to fight for their dreams and it is disheartening to such societies set up against its own future and that’s fastest way to annihilate the future of the society.
The now-adult children have no footing they are struggling to constantly have and get themselves up and running financially, parents still have to take care of their adult children in 20s and 30s because they have no financial stronghold to start a life, at this stage they are expected to build on something to succeed. Today adults have more information about navigating through life; getting degrees and landing high paying job, and even more likely of running into loan debt and starting a family. For some families to still keep the adults around, they have to take part in splitting the bills around the house to make themselves relevance, this is the tale of livelihood for them.
Young people have been thrown a spanner in the works, the impacts of still living with their parents can cut some financial expenses for them, like the challenges of buying a house and starting a family, and may have somehow built stronger relationship with their parents. But what comes into contention is the lasting impact of such arrangements, how they have been left behind due to the years of finding their foot to independently earn a living and support their parents financially. Young people aiming to work and start a business of their own are facing difficulties in achieving that dreams, for them a threat to livelihood.
