Threat To Democracy In The World

The world is striving on anarchy, and disregard to the rule of law, democracy has been suspended. What is going on breeds everything not related to democracy, and it is posing a big threat to the world.

What happened in United States, on Jan 6, is historical quagmire, it will be remembered on that day, the constitution which is the sole custodian of the custom was violated in a more disgraceful manner. The Capitol was occupied by mobs who came to dismantle democracy and institute their own government, there plans were abortive but a step to possible coup.

US presidential election, which Joe Biden won by majority of the electoral college, has been under attack by former president, Donald Trump which he termed a stolen mandate and fraudulent. There is no doubt how dangerous the former president’s speech, which was the brainchild of Capitol insurrection.

Conspiracy theory

Now Trump is telling his supporters that he will be reinstated by August, ousting president Joe Biden out of White House. Democracy has been attacked by the former president umpteenth time, if he is not constitutionally limited, it might escalate to something worse.

To breed war is against humanity, it is a threat to life and every effort should be made to keep a distance from it. What is happening with Israel and Palestine is archaic type of living, you shouldn’t strive on human blood.

Nigeria has been the central of anarchy and insecurity, citizens are on run north-east is totally unsafe for habitation, it has been conquered by Islamic terrorists; Boko Haram.

The country is in a ravaging fire, it feels like the constitution has been suspended, and the government are slow in action and time are running out to correct impending woes, the country is in the verge of doom. If there is no huge presence of democracy and the constitution, Nigeria will find it hard to cope.
