The return of war in Europe?

It has been a lot of negatives coming from this week, which is largely centered on the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. The world on different ways has showed support to Ukraine, after military strikes from Russia hit the capital, Kyiv which kickoff the invasion. What might look like return of war in Europe will put the world in a hostile moment and will be largely unsafe in all ramifications, as it tends to build two worlds, NATO and Russia on which all countries have to choose ally, and the world could be heading into a dangerous moment with such situation.

Sanctions not going to stop Putin- action will do

The EU has responded with series of sanctions imposed on Moscow to deter them for carrying further attacks on Ukraine, it seems like Putin is barely moved by those sanctions, he is hellbent in achieving any purpose he had in mind for invading Ukraine. This has gone beyond invasion, it is power struggle between the west, Russian and its allies. China has refused to condemn the attack on Kyiv, citing that the west is escalating the issue my making use of the word invasion, and further blamed United States for high presence of NATO military in Ukraine and calls for demilitarization.

Largely unsafe

President Putin feel comfortable pressing for war, and has warned for instant reply for anyone who gets in his way. Ukraine is in deep crisis and only them alone can’t withstand Russian forces, and NATO will try to provide help for its member, the level of help will determine whether they have really crossed the line Putin set for anyone who interferes with the situation going on between the two countries. It became largely unsafe especially after the first attack on the capital, and Ukrainian president believes that he is the number target, and vowed to do everything to protect the country and fight for its sovereignty.

The height of Russia-Ukraine crisis

The fight of two worlds- Russia and NATO

There is no doubt the Russia-Ukraine crisis is going to inflict a lot of damages and, if it continues it will be hard to reach any consensus on how to quench the war. It is becoming more unsafe especially now it appears to be more of power struggle and Russia is making sure it is dragging United States and its allies into it, with the agenda of stripping off that world power status from Unites States. It is matter of time whether the world will be enough to contain Russia and its allies, and NATO and its allies.

The thoughts of average African citizens

Africa has been relatively quiet on the ongoing crisis, but have urged their citizens to take protective measure to stay safe. Average African citizens are really queuing up behind Vladimir Putin, not that they justified the loss of lives in Ukraine or the invasion of Ukraine, it will be unsafe as to be unreasonable not to talk about innocent lives, but because they believe that the west are the one responsible for the predicament in Africa, and have exploited the continent with presence of their influence in the continent, as their favourite candidates always emerge as the winner.
