The Dark Side Of Living In North Korea

Recently the North Korea has introduced policies that delve into the personal liberty of their citizens, tend to regulate their activities and interaction with the outer world. They will punish anyone seen using slangs, in possession of foreign films or clothes, the law seems to crackdown any form of foreign involvement, it is novelty that Kim Jong-un is embarking on a war, that is not related to nuclear weapons or missiles.

It is draining and against human right, and contrary to the public policy that in a state of lockdown, where mental health was stressed to the highest degree, and need for rehabilitation is of great importance. You’re isolated from any time of social interaction, this is the case for North Koreans, this is the current state of mind in the country and it is threatening, it is not the first time that Mr Kim is disregarding humane.

The decay of democracy

This is the view that, Mr Kim exercises the power of a supreme leader and totalitarian. Life in North Korea has been horrible, this is the brainchild of Mr Kim to avert any kind of foreign interaction, as he continues to keep the country in the dark with new law termed “reactionary thought”. The self-isolation from other countries, is increasingly alarming sealing their border in effect to curb the global pandemic; coronavirus. North Korea is going into excommunication, as millions of people are feared to be starving.

The law is deep, as it boils down to personal matters, where parents can be chastised if a child becomes recalcitrant and other related issues term to boycott any kind of foreign influence on North Koreans. Pyongyang is getting stricter as young people congest the labour camp as punishment for watching foreign videos which are contraband in North Korea.

It is disheartening to witness such transformation under Mr Kim, although it might not come as a surprise, but what is happening in Pyongyang is a modern slavery, they need to understand it and see the bigger picture, this is not any kind of power struggle between the country and the West, it is enslaving and need for emancipation.
