There are days when we were locked inside the house…
So as not to stroll into trouble.
Popping out our faces from the window to wave at strangers…
And waiting earnestly to be let out from our small ‘cubicle’, which we have grown to love.
The world appear so simple and no worries besiege our innocent heart.
There are days when we were warned not to accept things from strangers…
Or give road directions to motorist and stand the risk of being kidnapped.
Those moments we await Mama’s sizzling stew…
And the goodies she always brought back each time she returns from the market.
Moments filled with laughter and Joy.
