Do you know that you’re destined to succeed?
Now, Listen!
Failure is the spice that gives success it’s taste. It is part of the process. When you fail, do you stay down? or do you dust yourself and get up?
Paulo Coelho said “The secret of life is to fall seven times and to get up eight times”. Don’t give up when you encounter failures because that is not the end of the road, failure is a temporary detour and not a permanent end. Always have that in mind.
You must have probably heard of Abraham Lincoln, a one time president of the United States of America, how resilient and undaunting he was. He encountered challenges, setbacks and obstacles but he never allowed them to deter him. He failed many times in his quest to be the President of America but he was never discouraged, his humble background notwithstanding. Finally, his persistence pay off. He is the real definition of a courageous soul.
You must have heard of Michael Jordan too, the world acclaimed champion and what he said about failure. He said “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
Stay strong, pursue your goals and don’t stop until you’ve started living the life of your dreams. Remember, Life said, “You will be happy, but first, I make you strong”. Sometimes life will not be fair to you, but you got to stay strong and fight back until you become a champion.

Gena Showalter said, “Giving up is the only sure way to fail”. We tend to give up easily after we have encountered failures, Why? Have it in mind, that failure is the route through which success arrives. It is part of our story to greatness.
Imagine you are invited to a school to talk to the students on the topic “SUCCESS” and you start by telling them your success stories and what you have achieved over the years, the accolade, awards, gifts and so on without telling them the challenges, obstacles, and hurdles you passed to get to that stage. Most importantly, how you failed at some points but you never allowed it to be a deterrent to achieving your dreams. Trust me, the talk will be so boring and unrelatable to some students who may be facing one or more challenges in their studies at that time.
Failure is simply a condiment to success. Our approach and attitude towards life when we fail matters a lot. Some rise immediately and continue fighting, while others lie there and even look for pillow to support their head. Belong to the first class because there is less competition there. Babe Ruth said “It is hard to beat a person who never gives up”. Be unstoppable, no matter how tough it gets, keep fighting because you are destined to succeed.
Fight to the finish line, fight to the end. Don’t look back, you are not going that way. Thomas Edison said “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up”. Don’t allow that happen to you. Build on failure, use it as a stepping stone. You are a star, the world is waiting for your shine.
Always remember that the future is bright and you are destined to succeed. Meet you at the top.
