They looked at each other and smiled.
“She is a good match for our son”, Mammy Bruno said resting her head on her husband’s shoulder. Her grey oily hair shinning brightly.
Even though they had become so old, it is an undeniable fact that they were so much in love.
“I pray Bruno will be a gentleman this time around. We are not getting younger and we need to see our grandchildren before we bade farewell to the world beyond”, Pa Bruno said.
The two watched as the young lady who was decently dressed walked past them and diverted to another corner of the park.
Something was odd with the way she looked around, oblivious of the couple who was seated poles away.
“She reminds of Bintu”, Mammy Bruno said in a shaky voice.
Bintu was their only daughter who had passed away years ago after battling cancer.
“Sweetheart… please don’t cry. It is in the past now and we had overcome it”, Pa Bruno said wiping his wife tears while desperately withholding his own from falling down his cheeks.

She was about calling on the young beautiful lady but stopped halfway.
Meanwhile, the couple was sitting beside parked cars making it difficult to draw attention.
They watched in shock as the young lady removed her beautiful “Buba” gown and put on a skimpy dress which was revealing her cleavage and a generous portion of her laps.
She untied her head tie to reveal a hair which was artistically dyed pink.
She removed a box from her bag and began to make up.
The couple were short of words as they stare sheepishly as the young lady apply her makeup. She removed her sandal and put on a high heeled shoe that could dig a six feet grave. She walked majestically to the other side of the road chewing bubblegum.
They shook their head more in disappointment than in disbelief. Moments later a car pulled up beside the lady. The owner stepped out to help the lady with the door.
The old couple sprang up in surprise.
