I don’t know who she was but there is something about her…

The girl at the window.

Each day I passed her,

I caught her staring down the street,

With a faraway look,

But I could feel the fire in her eyes,

Burning straight from her heart,

A heart filled with dreams and goals,

Waiting to be accomplished.

She work in a cafe,

I could see,

But there is always that look of longing,

That familiar look of wanting something better,

Making impacts,

Filling voids,

Speaking values,

Why do I feel the same way with her,

Why was it so easy to read her thoughts from her dreamy eyes.

Probably she need a firm place to stand and move the earth,

Probably she wants something better,

She wanted something more than working in a cafe,

And I could feel it too,

Because I remember my days back as a waitress,

Until I decided to take the bull by the horn.

Then comes the look of pain in her eyes,

Probably she has had enough of playing small,

While a giant is in her waiting to be harnessed,

I knew her days in the cafe was numbered,

Because that was the last day I saw her staring down the street,

Few days later I met her in giant strides to wheresoever,

The same I did when I took the bull by the horn,

I knew she is destined for greatness,

My hunch was right.

It happened not so long, before my very eyes.
