To take the crown,

You must bear the cross.

You don’t even know why you were chosen,

Isn’t it clear to you now?

The scourging and the forging,

The sacrifices and the discomfort,

Where are they from?

You may probably ponder,

Or better still wonder,

Why you mustn’t gamble or fumble,

Even though the rest are doing so,

And you may even discover,

That you are different because you’ve been assigned a role,

A role that must bring light into darkness,

A role that must bring liberation to the captive,

A role that must bring hope to the hopeless,

A role that must bring succor to the weak,

A role, reserved and given to the strong,

That is when you begin to understand that your path is different.

Yes, life will begin to reward you as soon it sees that you’re unstoppable,

Life will begin to appreciate you as soon it sees you are not giving up,

You will notice that your path was difficult because your calling was higher,

That puzzle that has been passed from

generation to generation,

Has been solved by your persistence, queen.

Everyone will want to take up this challenge,

But not everyone can do it,

So, you must be willing,

You must be willing to show up every day,

You must be willing to persevere,

You must be willing to sacrifice the life you desperately want now for the dream in your heart,

You must willing to be different,

You must be willing to pray,
