Mmeso Inspires: If I Perish

She is beautiful, very beautiful.

She is confident,

She appears vulnerable, but it’s all a camouflage,

She is a lioness,

A fierce one.

I must tell you,

She is different,

And no one must know what she goes through,

To be one.

She is a special type of woman,

That went through hell to bring heaven to her family,

She is that woman,

That mustn’t give up,

She mustn’t fumble,

Or gamble,

It’s a battle, a tough one,

But she said,

If I perish, I perish.

And those times,

She wept bitterly,

Burying her face deep into her pillow,

To hide her pain from others,

Those depressing moments,

That people thought her to be insane,

Were not actually her breaking time,

But building time.

She mustn’t be found wanting,

Because many look up to her,

Sometimes the thought of that,

Makes her sober,

This fight is not for the faint-hearted.

What it takes,

To change the ancient narrative,

Is tougher,

Than climbing the mountain in winter,

Because,

She must first conquer herself.

She mustn’t settle for less,

Because she is a woman of value.

She need a supportive partner or none,

She must choose peace amidst chaos,

Because she is calm and humble.

She is a queen,

And her worth is top notch.

She knows what she wants,

And she go for it,

Just like a fierce lioness in a fierce jungle.

She said…

” I either go hard or go home,

Because,

I must live the life of my dream,

With the partner of my dream,

I will achieve all my goals,

Because I know the saviour is by my side”.

She said…

“No one can stop me,

I must fight to the last drop of my blood,

And if I PERISH, I PERISH.
