Dear Self,

I have not seen anyone as strong as you are,

Maybe in Jupiter or Neptune but,

Not in this planet.

We’ve been through storms together,

Through trials and tribulations,

We’ve concealed pain in smiles,

And when no one is looking we quickly wipe a tear.

Dear Self,

Why do we appear strong outside,

But we weep inside,

Trying to cast away fears with faith,

We got to stay strong.

We work so hard but it seems little comes our way,

We toiled all day but it seems we are left behind,

Dear Self,

Though darkness becloud my sight,

I can clearly see my path,

Through the light that shines forth from my heart,

Bright light that burns my eyes,

There is hope.

But we shall rise again like phoenix,

We shall outwork,

We shall outplay them,

Life is tough,

We must be tougher,

Life is hard,

We must be harder,

We shall win, Self.

Who is Self?

Self is You and I.

Don’t give up on your self!

You’re destined to succeed.

Are you ready to be celebrated?
