Mmeso Inspires: A Parcel

Must I get under the covers to prove my love for him?

When there are signs that profess my undiluted love which runs gold.

As a wise man once said, “Put first things first and second things are thrown in, put second things first and you lose both the first and second things”.

“He had better use his tongue to count his teeth”

How hard it is to find a true love…

One who loves you without a doubt?

One who cares with no string attached.

Is true love a fairy tale that happen in wonderland

Or is it a fantasy which lovers failed to admit

Because here I am, dumb and confused on the road of decision

“I had better use my tongue to count my teeth”

An ultimatum was given to me by the one whom I called my “World”.

He said to me “Do it with me unless you want to lose me”, “Go down with me unless I leave and return no more”.

I don’t want to lose you Fred.

I don’t want you out of my life.

Because I cherish what we share, we nurtured this for years, why must it be cast to the mud?

He said to me “You had better use your tongue to count your teeth”.

I did.

Yes I did, I made a decision.

A decision that broke but repaired me.

Yes, a decision which gave me hope to look forward to the beautiful things the future hold in stock for me.

I let Fred go.

It was the hardest decision I had ever made, because I truly love him.

Then I wonder if he ever loved me, if not, why spent a couple of years with me?

But it was all past now, a fresh beginning awaits me and I am willing to embrace it and give it all the best.

Most of my friends thought I made the wrong choice, but I told them…

A parcel that will eventually be opened someday does not need poking“, moving ahead I advised them…

“You had better use your tongue to count your teeth”.
