Long Walk To Africa’s Selfstanding

For many years, Africa have been depending on foreign countries for survival, little or less has been done to improve life here, what they call democracy is not what is it in Africa, citizenry have been completely and starkly isolated from the government, they only get in touch in electioneering campaign when they seek for votes after that, these politicians who promised heaven on earth, will be no where to found. There is a lot things to fix in Africa, the system is worst than you think, this is time for total rebuild, it is long walk to Africa’s selfstanding.

No provision has been made for Africa’s selfstanding, not the education system or any other systems, the situation is getting worst everyday, African leaders have the resources to push this continent out of the quagmire it is now, but they feel reluctant, which makes it look like, some people are gaining from this continent backwardness, Africa have big future ahead, if only the right mentality will be inculcated for proper work to be carried out.

Children could barely go to school, and have taken it upon themselves to be useful to the society, to create something, those kids are very talented, but all these talents got wasted due to lack of proper management and irresponsible government, greatness start from the scratch, if only Africa can explore the talents they have, it will be a life changing moments for all, but we are quick to point fingers and on the news for wrongful act.

African leaders have failed children in the street, the chance for free education and basic amenities were no where to be found, but these systems run expensive system of government, where millions will be budgeted for campaign, during this campaign they will share food stuffs and other things after that they will scamper, and the masses will continue to live in their normal misery.

Education system has become something of caricature, unqualified staff, inexperienced and untrained staff, school has become a hidden rendezvous to molest students and have sexual knowledge of them, just to get the advantage of the situation, this is time to change our minds and become asset to the society by promoting good values and helping to grow beyond its expectations.

Embezzlement of public fund can never make us better, because life is insatiable, if it is money that drive you, you can never get enough of that, you can literally do anything to continue looting public fund even when you’re sophisticated, the urge never goes away, it keeps calling you, but if you implore more on development and fixing things, especially where we get it wrong, this is kind of legacy that will forever live with us, no matter the place or position we found ourselves we should be able to make a difference, Nelson Mandela’s legacy will forever dwell amongst us due to the steps he took which become perpetual freedom for everyone who believes in good values.

Talk about good stadia in Africa, those kids who are good in football, can tour everyone to bring out the best in them, bottom line they feel disappointed because things hardly work here, few people who are opportune to get their way out and go to more advanced countries to achieve their dreams become proud of who they are, proper management and good staff, can breed these kids and more advanced football environment to attract these kids and distance their minds of going to Europe to play football, Africa can have those things that attract them in Europe, it is a long walk to Africa’s selfstanding but not impossible, gradually we can get there, if we are ready to take responsibility of uplifting our own.

Siphoning of money have become a norm, governments will awards contract and will not supervise the work, the quality of products used and if the people who are doing this job, are the right people, here in Africa you see lots of potholes, worst drainage system, every rainy season, residents fall victim of flood, leaving them homeless and almost nothing, the leaders do little to help such people, it is high form of inhumanity, a lots of things need to change if we are to take this continent to next level and the place it deserves to be.

This is the time to conceive this dream of making Africa great again, many things have gone wrong, but still possible to fix it, if we can uphold the dreams bestowed upon this continent by the ancestors, it is only going to be the healing day.

This great uproot of malicious activities which has stained Africa’s heritage for a long time, will be a revival for everyone, but also for future generations, it will be a legacy, if things should be the way it should be, despite the atrocities, the good work will overshadow it, this is a journey to Africa’s selfstanding.
