The drive for competition in technology has continued to evolve as Apple poised to launch its first generative AI iPhone. Technological improvements done almost exactly a year after iPhone 15 was launched at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Apple in its announced event scheduled to hold on 9th September, 2024, 10 am PT at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park, will give room for people to stream the event online. While the debate has continued to go on as to prospects and danger posed by generative AI, in the event tagged “It’s Glowtime” Apple will explore the technological advancements of generative AI to enhance its device, the first of its kind, users are thrilled to see what these features will look like in partnership with ChatGPT.

The discussion around AI in future workplace and danger to the human employees has led the outcry for the need to have regulatory framework, which European Union has legislated on, and prohibits generative AI that tends to exploit human beings and violate human rights. Apple, in its annual Worldwide Developers Conference held in June earlier announced generative AI features. Which comes with personalised Genmoji, an Apple generated AI emoji, the AI features extended to smarter Siri, which answers questions on content of your email and your other schedules.

The upcoming new iPhone will be first Apple device solely built with AI in view. Although, some of these new features will be available for iPhone 15 Pro max users. This generative AI features for the new iPhone will be moment of technological evolution for the launch of the  new device, a shift away from conventional improvements. While iPhone obsessives are thrilled to embrace the new features, another determinant will be the price tag of the new iPhone, sales in China have continued to dwindle over increase in competition and other economic factors.
