How Exclusion Of Youth In The Society Is An Invitation To Disaster

This is generation that wants their voices to be heard and listened to, but the society has often isolate them and treat their opinions with disdain, which often result to violence means for them to show their grievance. The youth are recognizing the power they have to change the narrative and create the society of the future which will keep sustainability of good culture and values. It is about transforming the society into oasis of growth, where if the youth are not actively involved in the core decision making, it will push the society into disaster. Higher education institutions seem to have fallen short of their role, they should lead the conversation and provide the young adults with the necessary tools for equipping themselves, it is not only meant for learning, this is where future leaders are bred to be refined in their approach and to become the problem solvers. The university is the vanguard of change, higher education has gone beyond learning and studying a course, it is more sophisticated to drive the change, so that young people can rightful hold the conversations about the problems bedeviling the progressive growth of the society and the way forward to provide solutions.

Young people want to be heard, they want to be part of the discussion in discussing their future, when they felt silenced they result to protests to show solidarity in conformity with demands and change they are clamouring to be made by the political leaders. Many events around the world, have awaken their consciousness to seek for change, they are done with being passive, they are ready to hold conversation, youth from different parts of the world are united in one voice in seeking a better society that will advance better living, this is something that holds them together.
