Herdsmen Clash: Impending Second Civil War

Over a couple of years or thereabouts, Nigerians have been wailing and mourning on savages of Fulani herdsmen which comes as a big burden for the country and way to put it behind and move forward.

Everyone has right to live wherever you want to within the geographical defined territory of the country, but this comes with an exceptions where going about your business become savages against other citizens then proper actions need to be taken.

Ab inito, it is clash between herdsmen and farmers, the brutish style of going about their rearing is not encouraging. Destroying people’s farm land is a bad way of doing rearing which means stepping on someone’s source of livelihood without any remorse.

The unanswered question

This has been a problem of herdsmen and farmers until it was gradually deteriorating into something serious, it went beyond a mere herdsmen and farmers clash to what is affecting the whole country and something need to be done about that unless it will escalate into another civil war.

War is something no one wishes for, but when you’re protecting lives and property it worth putting everything in line, especially in a country where the government is irresponsible and takes no action of any harm caused.

It is appallingly disgraceful that you live in such time and age, where a mere sentiment overrides your exposure and education. This is a great force in Nigeria, everything is tribalised even human lives.

It has become a taboo for the president to address the country on matters that are affecting the federation, it seems like he is being cajoled to do so, which is hundred percent nauseating unlike president.

Innocent citizens are being raped, their houses are being razed down. It is only in Nigeria that herdsmen move around with fire arms, serving big threats to the populace and the government don’t have problem with that.

If you allow yourself to be saturated by mere sentiments and chose lies over truths, you’re liability to mankind, if you can’t reason beyond this petty arguments you’re a burden to humanity and threat to livelihood.

Every state is taking a backup, the act of herdsmen are going beyond the normal circumstances, it is really causing a chaos in the country, and the public office holders and those representing their constituencies think it is cool to be quiet on important issue like this, because they live in the capital.

Even when you think everything is politicized and tribalised, wars are not, when group of people bring war to your door steps you ought to fight and defend yourself, it seems like Nigeria is a lawless state.

When people are inspired to take up arms to defend themselves, you know that such government is in liquidation. There are sounds of war beating around the country, there is no kind of atrocities that has not happened, is it when group of people start taking possession?.
