Serena’s 27-year professional career will be legacy to cement her love for the sport which have come with sweat, blood and tears that brought 23 major singles wins, labelled as the greatest of all time the crowd stood up to eulogize her when she departed the court after her loss, a beautiful journey that started in 1995.

Although Serena never use the word “retirement” instead she chose to use “evolving away”. When asked about her stance after what might be farewell “I thank you everyone that’s here, that’s been on my side literally decades. Oh my gosh, literally decades.
