Good projects attract people with great initiatives to explore the system and make something good out of it, the case is not the same in African political circle, good men isolate themselves from the political activities in Africa, but they do less to rejuvenate the system, can they take the blame of not helping?
The balkanization of Africa, which happened to give foreign countries their territories, prior to who takes over Africa, to make things more civilized, Otto Von Bismarck the then Vice-Chancellor of Germany, organized Berlin conference which kick off the beginning of colonization in Africa.
Africa is no doubt the continent that most experienced the era of colonial system, the middle of 20th century was the time colonization were at its last grasp, the idea of self-rule began to dominant the headlines, and when the pressure became unbearable the colonial masters left.
There is no doubt that foreigners left their footprints in Africa, especially the political and religious activities which they influenced the most, somehow it shows the nationalists know where to start having been quasi involved in the running of affairs of their countries.
When colonial masters left, it was beginning of new phase in Africa, but things went from right to worst, the system became highly corrupt, and the leaders play no role in taking the continent in right directions, rather it continued to swim in the ocean of malpractices, maladministration and all kinds of horrible activities.
African politics has made it difficult for men who think there are still elements of integrity and just left in them, a system them push you to do bad than good, you can imagine how the citizenry continue to put up with this system, many white elephant projects.
The system is very ignoble, if you can’t join them you leave them, political system that seek for blood of innocent people, while leaders continue to make away with the fund made for public uses.
No one wants to speak up again, not even your life is guaranteed, they believe everybody can easily bought with money, with their bribery and manoeuvring their ways, with the same old tactics of theirs, a system that begs you to become corrupt.
A system made only for men, who believe in killing others to live, depriving citizenry their inalienable rights to livelihoods, these people have no mouthpiece of any kind, they live as the whole world is against them.
There is no room for good men in African politics, since the sacrifice made by Nelson Mandela you hardly see any leader who comes close to his qualities as man of the people, they are just man after the money, enriching themselves in a most dreadful way.
